My thoughts 1

I am going to use this place as just somewhere to write what I am thinking.

I have been taking this course called Introduction to new Media. It is really interesting, but I am totally out of my element. A lot of it is about digital art. I have always been more focused on watercolor and sketching, but digital art is pretty cool. One part that makes me nervous has nothing to do with art, but is that we have had to get in randomly assigned pairs and work on a project with our partner, and my partner is this really cute guy lol. I have always been more interested in figure drawing, so I am going to be trying to make some sort of digital art of my partner, which means he is either going to pose for me to either photograph or sketch him, and then go from there in regards to finishing the project. I have drawn or photographed so many people, but for some reason he makes me nervous lol. Especially because I will be posing for him as well, as it will fit in our project. I have also posed for various art classes and what not, so that in itself doesn't make me nervous, just that he will be the artist. Gaah!

Nervous is good! It means you’re going outside your comfort zone which you need to do in order to grow.

For what it’s worth, my bf and I met the same way, being assigned to the same group in a class. We celebrated 2 years together this past weekend.
