So back awhile ago I met a person who has a smaller YouTube channel.

I'm really glad I didn't give her anything personal and decided not to carry friendship further. She's not a bad person but I dislike some of the things she does now that her channel was growing and I can see her behaviour.

She just had a podcast right now talking about how she believes the moon landing is fake and how we just believe in the laws of physics with no proof so why can't we believe that there's a God. She had a person on her podcast who believes that Hitler was set up and how he believes all conspiracies no matter what, kept going on about Govt and the occult.

My brain hurt from listening to her and her friends.

She is friends with really extreme people like there's this one guy who I don't know him at all but he's one of those male supremacist types but since he's charming, he's given air time a lot on several smaller channels.

At the end of the day, I decided not to give her any time. I thought I wanted to like socialize but nah lmfao 🤣

@SatyrService Yeah she's a weird person. I don't get her really but I've been around long enough to know that when that happens, I shouldn't really stick around to figure it out.

@SatyrService Well if you're talking about people saying things like Rome didn't exist, they would have to prove that archeological evidence is lying. I do believe that history is written by the victors so history is kind of skewed but that's the besides the point. We have records and other stuff to make educated guesses.

However, like my ex friendish here, she just believed all the conspiracies at face value, with no thought.

one of my fave you tube antiquities guys sped a lot of time on the debunk.
not sure that is worth his time

@SatyrService Yeah in a sense, it's a waste of time but I like debunking because I just feel like truth matters even if no one cares. I feel like some conspiracies aren't all the way false but the narrative driven by people who believe then wholeheartedly often have other motivations where they don't care, they just want their narrative.
