On being impervious
Upon viewing the chaos that surrounds, to be unaffected is a strange thing.
Opinions are held by the other.
You are in the terrifying cosmic landscape looking at the other as always other.
At times joyful, relieved, puzzled and saddened, tempted at times to say something, but ultimately it's to no purpose.
Not everything one does needs to be with a purpose, there's too much design and not enough creativity in that.
But ultimately, to risk sounding like a wannabe elitist, to partake of the insanity, the chaos is really for the masses, and not for the detached, the impervious.
