The infinite within

Inside our minds we can go anywhere.

What sorts of "places" i crave:

We know very well that books can take us anywhere, it is upon this that much of my hypothesis rests.

Biographical memento

Sheltered from the harsh climes, yet knowing enough to know that this sheltering is fickle and lovely, i approach the desired locales of the immaterial that both supports a deeply pessimistic and cynical view of the outside world.

To pay special and relishing heed to history, how things were in those contexts, going over and over, through repetition we gain a clearer picture.

The darkness - the limits of human experience, what people go through, the causes of situations that bring them notoriety. What all that must have been like, and how this is the machinations of discernment, the opposite of judging.

Stepping back, seeing how things tend, seeing patterns, seeing how on a grand scale the way of things are is decay.

Optimists would interject that from the ashes comes new life, in a beautiful cycle renewing all the time. I have no comment for that, the bright and hopeful are nice to experience, but fall short on the interest scale compared to the darkness.

To ignore the dark seems to me like the product of living in the dark. I search the dark for perhaps the simplest of reasons, that it is where unresolved issues are, things that could contribute to a more wholeness afterwards.

Then with the least amount of unresolved things at an end, it justifies the end being the end. In a small way, there won't be anymore any interest left, and i could let go of it all, a feast for the maggots.
