I'm having two smokes in a row so my ice packs get harder

I am so gonna treat myself to some fun kung fu movies tomorrow night with the Cinematic Vengeance set.

As a person who treats cinema like a religious zealot, i earn the fun by watching uncompromisingly bleak films. Lots come to mind to watch, a list would be in order, but for example Bresson, Bergman, Dreyer, Bela Tarr and Rossellini's War Trilogy which ends with my #1 BLEAK film Germany Year Zero, god i love that, it's classic visceral quality. I wrote to Criterion when i watched it, thanking them for it, films which hurt, but are masterpieces too, which are the dual necessities that ensure i'll never see things like the Guinea Pig series, but MAYBE one called The Men Behind the Sun.
