There's a bigot rallying cry.

Actually there are many, here's just one:

"You're just calling what I said racist because I disagreed with you"

Nah, sometimes things just are racist. Both things can be equally true depending, one doesn't negate the other . I do notice that bigots got their own rallying cry in different ways much like a bird with its feathers fluffed up.

Like sorry but yes sometimes you can actually be racist. I know fun fact right.

I once got into an argument in which I was defending Muslims and the other person... erm... wasn't.

I called him a racist and get got extremely offended. I got a wall of text about how the left is intolerant and accuses anyone who disagrees with them racist. About how ordinary people have legitimate concerns about immigration etc.

This is all well and good but in the previous post he'd literally called me a 'race-traitor cuck'.

😂

He was completely serious too. This guy was like an alt-right version of Mark-Paul.

We should be careful about calling people racist and give them the benefit of doubt. Sometimes there is no doubt.

@Burnley123 I was chatting with a woman recently who said she is sick of people being woke. She went on to say how jokes about black folks, jewish folks etc weren't insulting..its just humour!
She has a disabled child so i asked her is it okay to tell jokes about kids with disabilities and jokes about child abuse..she just looked at me open mouthed. Never replied.

@Burnley123 Race traitor cuck and he can't see how thinking there is such a thing as race traitor is maybe a little racist 🤔

It just goes to show that not everyone had the ability to reflect. I wrote this post after seeing a few comments on here like that.

@Burnley123 Oh yeah I give people a fair shot but mine is a shorter window because I see things as manipulation rather than anything genuine.

What I do is explain the issues and explain how that person should have empathy because of many reasons by which I'll state.

If the person refuses then I don't give them the benefit anymore.

@SatanBurger It depends. I think it's good to assume good faith. If someone is rude or dishonest then they deserve shit.

@Entwistle That's a good point. I dislike the word woke. As if being a decent person makes one woke. I think it's common sense
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@SatanBurger Also i dislike when people say you are a 'Do Gooder'or 'Woke' in the pejorative. Both are good things to be.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Entwistle Agreed. To be honest it's like a personality warning ⚠️

You know you're dealing with a crappy person if they use woke in the pejorative.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@SatanBurger @Entwistle

'Woke' has replaced 'political-correctness' in the common lexicon. Like everything, it has extreme examples. However, when people say they are anti-woke, it's usually a more polite way of saying they don't like being polite to minorities.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@Burnley123 You are 100% correct.
A woman once said to me she doesn't like foreigners coming over here and telling us what we can and cant do. When i asked her for an example of that happening she had no reply.
@Burnley123 the word "racist" has lost all meaning
just like woke or equlity of any other word that can be repurpose for the Lie-industrial complex
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@SatyrService I'm sure racism does have meaning for those who are victims of it.

It is overused by some and then the accusations of overuse are exaggerated by others. It's hard to cut through all the mire.
@Burnley123 it is this is why i prefer bigotry as language .
racism, as yu say is real enough but with bigotry , it can be include race, sexuality, nationality and religion.
even cultures
but i have little hope of changes from that end of the spectrum
