I prefer easygoing intelligence

People who take themselves and life way too seriously are boring. Most of the time I’m not here to be the profile pillar of philosophical contribution. I use SW to medicate the cabin fever and keep track of some goals. I’m not sorry for it and I don’t think others should be either for babbling about whatever is on their mind/mood.

I can’t stand pretentious intellectual or spiritual circles who exist with an air of condescension about them 🙄 I remember when I was younger being so excited whenever I would meet someone who wanted to talk about philosophy and what not with me. What I learned is that intelligence is often wasted on the arrogant.

If you’re feeling like people lack depth, soul, but special unicorn you, it’s more likely that you’ve forgotten, or perhaps never learned, how to appreciate different forms of intelligence.

It’s likely you forgotten that many people, whether consciously or unconsciously, only discuss vulnerable topics with people they’ve built trust, which is a completely understandable survival mechanism.

The issue is likely that somewhere along the lines you decided you are the measurement of intelligence, how someone of intelligence should communicate and conduct themselves.

That’s all right. Plenty of people in the world. Easy enough to create an echo chamber, but people with narrow expectations miss out on a lot of what life and others have to offer.
