SHOULD WE HAVE A RIGHT TO EVICT OUR LANDLORD

Yes, yes we should. One million tenants in Berlin campaigned to take formerly government owned properties back into public hands after rising rents, gentrification and privatization. They were slowly squeezing out lower income families with higher rents year after year. So Berlin tenets took the power back in their own hands. Granted this is only limited to Berlin but I am hoping that this movement grows so my answer is yes, yes we should have a right to evict in a lot like pirates who had a right to evict their leaders if they proved incompetent.

I heard a news report about a lady who opened up a communal fridge that anyone can use within the rules. Apparently it's quite popular and people can get basic necessities for free.

These are things I'm liking so far, I hate how we have this illness thing going on but at the same time, it's clearly identifying structural weaknesses and forcing people to work together.

It's honestly crazy to me that following the worst housing crisis we've seen, investors decided to crank up a whole new one. I love where I live, but if rent keeps going up at the rate it is I'll end up living in the woods somewhere with satellite internet lol

@Holdontothefire Haha yeah don't think I haven't thought about it. I honestly can't blame people, they were saying in Berlin it went from 1,700 (which is already high to be honest) to about 5,000 so rent went up 200%. You know the system isn't working, something is going to break eventually. Nobody got time for all that.
@Holdontothefire this is already happening fro many Americans. wiht the loss of one paycheck, they loose home, and most all else. thus dislocated, anxiety reduces the mind as well.
there is no interest in building "affordable housing" who will that make rich?

and yet...
Communist China, has harvested so much money from our least affluent, the Dollar Stores, Wall Mart. every where you look they are selling to the low income life.

so why not housing?
