30,000 people in Texas need rehoming after floods wipe out their homes..

And I'm sat in blazing sunshine, soaking my garden with the sprinkler..

It's funny how different things are on the other side of the world. And this could happen to any of us at any time.

I was just telling someone else...it's hard to think about going to work today when just south of me is absolute destruction. And the FEMA director was just on live television asking normal people to please bring boats and come help find people :(
