The police actually did a sting several years ago in our town. I had actually gone to the place in question. The biggest problem I had there was that someone's poodle was running around from room to room, ruining the ambiance. No one tried to offer any "extras".

Legit places typically are not open past 10:00 pm (so, must start a massage before 9:00 pm)- in our area. I would avoid any that are open at 1:30 AM.

@HeadAboveWater It would depend on the state/municipality laws. "Generally speaking", many municipalities and states will allow aestheticians/barbers/haircutters to bo simple massage of necks icw facials and haircuts respectively, etc., and nail techs to do simple massage of the feet and lower leg - staying beneath the knee joint- icw a pedicure, and hand massage up to the wrist icw manicures. Are these "real " massages? Not really, just a bit of adornment on their licensed skills.
