Use a bag with at least a 2 litre (2 quarts?) Putting a table spoonful of natural soap, like castille soap will help. If you are constipated a table spoon of glycerin will help too. Years ago when i worked in hospitals this mixture was pretty much guaranteed to clear bowels. Hold it for at least 10 minutes, Once done rinse out with clean water.

lie on your side and pull yoir legs up to your chest, use lots of lubricant on the nozzle, or better stil use a colon tube.

Old fashioned way is the best way. Don't bother with a Fleet.

@PammyP @PammyP use any over the counter products because they interact with some of my medications so I couldn't find an enema bag so I went and bought the fleet stuff anyway but I dumped the bottle out and just put a little bit of soapy water in it and then did the rent one after that but I can't hold it for very long even though I try

@Momofcutecat well yiou really need a bag, and a colon tube so the soapy water doesnt just sit in your rectum but get s up higher in your colon, then you can keep it in

@PammyP I only did it once because I have IBS and don't want to do it too many times and it not be good for that. I asked my special list his opinion if I could do one and he never responded so I don't know if it's because I sent the message on this Sunday if he never got it or what but I just couldn't wait anymore and was in a lot of pain so I did what I had to do

@Momofcutecat If you're still having problems you might try adding a tsp of salt and a tsp of baking soda to a quart of warm water. That will be easier to hold than soapy water.
