I Enjoy Aromatherapy

The sense of smell is indeed a blessing and that’s one reason I started training in aromatherapy. From a young age I realised how different smells effected my moods but as a child didn’t know it was a “thing” until I was about 13 I think. I started using the various oils to heal myself, my family and friends in my early 20’s and decided to train so I could help the public. My partner at the time played rugby and used to get thigh strains so I would massage him after a game and once used some lavender oil to help him relax as he was in pain. He loved his massages and I was actually good at it so started to treat some of his friends too which is when I thought about combining the aromatherapy with the massage.

Eventually I decided to train in massage and absolutely love it. The warmth from my hands and my clients body changes the smell of the oil, it’s as if it brings it to life!! Not an exciting post I know but wanted to share a little bit of me with you guys 💙

Actually this is a very cool post, I’ve always wanted to know more of the benefits of aromatherapy, and the different types of oils and what they are used for. 👍🏻

Yes, it's great!🤗 I used to put lavender oil on my light bulb by the chair I'd sit in to read, so relaxing.
