It could well be the case. Similarly it could not be the case, but it's worth exploring. EMDR is meant to reduce the impact of negative/traumatic memories. At worst you'll get to watch some lights moving back and forward and you can pretend it's a rerun of Knight Rider 🚘

It could very well have contributed to that. I have no experience with EMDR myself, but heard it's very effective. I did try to get it, but was only offered CBT. 😒
