Has anyone here used Better Help for therapy before?

How was it?

There's a place for telehealth mental health, but the general public isn't it. With the exception of severe anxiety and similar cases, most people will find the best benefits in person.

This is because the very core of productive therapy is the relationship and space set up between client and counselor. Part of that is eye contact for meaning, body language interpretation, the ability to react and speak without any technical delays, and so on. The space set up by both is a shelter, a common place, a safe and quiet space in which anything might be discussed, discovered and created. Harder to pull of the same from your garage while the kids are playing.

The bottom line is, keep looking for what works for you and when you find it, stick with it, regardless of what it looks like. Good luck and good for you for seeking to enhance your life.
