did anyone else feel bad for Djokovic

as a fan of his i wanted him to claim victory again and i felt sorry for him at his defeat by alcaraz, even though alcaraz played very well and deserved the win, i still wanted djokovic to get it.

I think Djokovic has reach such a high status, that it wont matter anymore if he keep losing after that. He will always be admired as the great one.

No, I'm sure that he and those who are close to or are fervent supporters are a bit disappointed....but there's really no reason to feel sorry for someone has won 23 majors singles titles.
Alcaraz earned the victory, but it was a hard fought and close match. Disappointing, yes....but even Djokovic's family has no reason to feel sorry for him.
