Are you kidding, typing was still an elective when I was still in High School. Glad I took the course now, didn't know how much I would need it today.

@calicuz In Junior high - two years were mandatory for us.. I hated it then but I love knowing how to type now and can smack out sixty or more words per minute on my computer... I have an older friend who watched me go at the computer and he said "I hate you" - I looked at him asking why? He said "YOU CAN TYPE".. he can't and it takes him far FAR longer to communicate than it does me...

I really have no idea how fast I type, it can't be very fast with all the deleting and retyping I have to do with all the misspelling. 🤣

@calicuz I type it out fast, the auto spell check fixes some things but it messes up others, On proof reading I edit the document - if it is something important I edit extensively... The option to craft the document logically on a screen to convey what the reader is to see is to me heaven and the time to finished document is FAR faster electronically than it ever was any other way.

@calicuz My mom encouraged me to take typing in school because she knew we would all be on computers.
