They need to bring back the ole mp3 player.

I miss the variety in sound quality. They had cool designs even though they all basically did the same thing. I just miss having a dedicated music player with customization options. Downloading an ad filled mess of an app with most of its features turned off isn't as fun

i understand that the quality of the sound depends on:

. the bitrate at which the audio file is recorded

.. the frequency characteristics of the headphone speakers in which the audio file is played back

how does this depend on the mp3 player?

It is apparently important to have a high electrical output impedance per channel, but this characteristic may not be listed in the player's description.

maybe you should buy a portable amplifier and good headphones. then you can use your phone as an audio player.
