Someone from my last job is apparently interested in where I'm going, searching me on LinkedIn

I see they have viewed my profile. It doesn't tell me who but judging by their job title and just how weird she was towards me, I bet it was her.
I'm doing well, thanks💁‍♀️
I have not updated Linked in to say when I quit nor where my next job is.

Keep her wondering and you sure wouldn’t want her to quit that job she has and apply for a job where you work.

[@467302,iamnikki] is it a bank? Maybe they visited and didn’t find you there and now they are curious. I don’t blame you for not telling where you were going. You don’t want them to follow you over there.

[@16806,cherokeepatti] nope, not a bank. Multiple locations I should say.

[@467302,iamnikki] you did good to not tell them which one you were working at. I have seen some where I used to work get a job someplace else and then others would quit and go to work in the same place. It happened a few times and in different businesses. Think you needed a fresh start.

I hope you are in the right job for you now.
iamnikki · 26-30, F
[@10109,SweetMae] I certainly hope so, I do not want to job hop. Almost 30, gotta settle down
SweetMae · 61-69, F
[@467302,iamnikki] That is true. Sometimes just staying put will allow you to be promoted.

You need to update it eventually, but wait until it's absolutely necessary.
iamnikki · 26-30, F
[@387713,4meAndyou] Hm, I really don't think it's necessary. I had to get a linked in for a class project years ago, that's the only reason I have it.

[@467302,iamnikki] It's just a networking tool. I add people from my church, and other people I know from time to time, but I am not looking for a job. I would imagine, however, that if you know a lot of people then an HR rep would be impressed.

Whoa Job staking? 😳😳 mmmmaaybe she likes you...
Yes. It's risky. Such people are naive and want to take away your position.

I handed in my notice due to how nasty the place and people are that I work with. Anyways when they asked if I had another job I said no, I'm going to take some time off.
I don't want the manager who already told me she messed up someone else looking for another job to sabotage me.
People forget that they play dirty and tell on themselves.

Gotta be smart with snakes.

I hope you're enjoying you're new place better x

[@1196310,Mellowgirl] smart move. Yea I just named the place. There are plenty of them. Not gonna update my Linked in either.
