Yes, you can use a galvanized tank, -
You still need to drill holes to attach the hoses for a filter, you still need to add chlorine and wait the recommended time before swimming.
Pool filters are available in Walmart and home Depot, but you might check to see if you'd get a pool with one for about the same price!
Pool chlorine is also there.
Sounds like it would be sturdier than a regular pool.
