So Many Supplements.....

This is kinda a long read, so I want to say right at the start....

I have 2 MTHFR mutations, C677T and A1298C, so I am no stranger to supplements. The combination of MTHFR mutations A1298C and C677T occurs when an individual inherits one copy of each variant. This compound heterozygous condition may affect the body's ability to process folate and could be associated with elevated homocysteine levels, potentially increasing the risk for certain health issues. I also have Familial Hypertriglyceridemia.

According to Search Assist

"Conclusion
The combination of C677T and A1298C mutations in the MTHFR gene can negatively impact lipid metabolism, potentially increasing the risks of Familial Hypertriglyceridemia. Understanding these genetic factors is essential for managing and preventing related health issues".

So, taking the right supplements, along with diet and lifestyle changes, is supposed to help with this. I take my supplements 3 times a week, instead of every day, because they cost soooo much. However, if I miss a week, I can surely tell the difference. Like this morning, my brain just wasn't " braining" (This is what my kids call it when our brains are more disorganized and sluggish.). I took my supplements about 30 minutes ago, and all is well with the world again, more or less.😅

Anyway, here is my list of supplements

Potassium bicarbonate, magnesium glycinate, methyl folate, zinc with copper, methylated B complex, kelp, biotin, pantothenic acid, methylcobalamin, vitamin C, vitamin E, B-1, L-tyrosine,l-theanine,D3 plus K2, plain Niacin, Iron Bisglycinate Chelate, Ginkgo biloba, Fish Oil, Choline, and SAMe. Hmmm, I think that is all of them.🤔

I recently gave up eating meat, and some research says I could need supplements, but it seems like I should have that covered. I guess we will see.🤔

I just watched this video today, and I like the way he explains the MTHFR mutations and what this means for health.

@TheYawnArchive 😅 It does look like a swear word at first glance.😅

It is alot of supplements. I usually put them all in a bowl before I take them, and my family tells me I might as well just add milk and call it breakfast.😅
You take care, too, my friend. 🤗
