How do social people do it?

I’m at a conference of 3500+ people and there’s a party tonight to celebrate the end of it and I went to it and walked around a little and am immediately back at my hotel room because that was way too many people for my asocial self

I think it's the unique combination of autism and adhd that makes me so extraverted. Can't always read the room, but I know to skip the small talk and make fast friends - we all have such interesting stories, I just can't resist.

Thinking about it, I feel like even in those huge settings I always find myself wrapped up in some winding, lovely, one on one conversation.

I am curious; what kind of conference was it?

I’m in healthcare and it’s for the new EMR we are switching to when our current one loses support at the end of the year
I was sent to learn about the optional features to help decide if we should get those in addition to the base model

@JRVanguard those switches are always painful - I helped a company consolidate from NextGen to AllScripts a few years ago and the growing pains were intense.

Hopefully last night ended up being at least somewhat enjoyable!
