My girlf and I always seem to make friends with random old ladies

When we’re out, like at museums/galleries and things. I don’t know why, maybe they’re less threatening than people our own age. They’re always really sweet, but it does feel like we’re a bit uncool if I’m being honest.

Fifty years earlier they were probably cooler than most people your age.

The slightly older ones were in their prime in the Swinging Sixties, some of them might have been hippies.
