Do you agree that decades don’t seem as distinct as they once did?

The 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s are such clear demarcations of culture, politics, and history. Things fade a bit in the 90s, and then it’s all just a big mash of techno crap, school shootings, and hip-hop ad nauseam.
