I had 5 potential people. Fallen out with 3 and the other is unreliable. One was suspicious and no help. They want 2.

FUCKING REFERENCES yes that is the worst.

I’ve dropped out of a couple job applications because I haven’t kept in touch with any of my old bosses.

@KingofPizza2 this just for volunteering. Everybody hates it I think even sociable people. One of the only people I could ask a few years ago rubbed it and made out as if he was going above and beyond.. he was manipulative like that.

@PaleandPolluted Yeah… it’s so dumb too, it’s less a test of actual quality of working/volunteering and purely a test of “have you made a deal with a couple people to say nice things when asked?”
