Maybe a psychologist could help a little with the anxiety, but it's a very reasonable feeling and the only real solution is addressing poverty. If a society cares about mental health, it should fight poverty.

@Shadyglow it's definitely not nearly as effective as what it's made out to be. But it does help with some specific issues. Sadly it's become the go to for pretty everything, and it's not fit for that.

@Shadyglow in most cases, I fully agree. There are legit uses for it as well though.
You don't need a therapist because you're worried about money. That is a perfectly rational anxiety.
What you need is not a therapist, but a government that will act to improve the standard of living for all Americans. We need affordable housing, free/very low-cost job training & placement, free/very low-cost college education, a universal non-profit healthcare system, first-rate public transit.
