Because I just can't do anything
Without something stupid happening...
I planted my pussywillows yesterday afternoon.
I got one planted by one side of the creek and the other at the other side of the creek.
As I was walking across the yard to plant the weeping willow I got, my boot got caught by a vine. I tried to get loose and thought I had, but nope.
I face planted on the ground. I'm sure it looked impressive with one knee bent that made me look like I was doing some unknown yoga position, my right leg up in the air, one arm bent like I was doing a push up and the other trying to keep from breaking my fingers wrapped around the shovel, face fully into the ground.
Amazingly enough, I wasn't hurt. I miraculously missed landing my face directly in the bramble vines and into rocks. I'm not sure how that happened, but hey, I'm counting my blessings.
So that happened yesterday. No one would have ever known had I not posted this, but i wanted people to know they aren't the only person who does these stupid involuntary things.
