@sarabee1995 One of my maternal third cousins was a competition barrel racer in the 80's, until a bad car wreck after being hit by a drunk driver and being pulled along the road by her seatbelt that failed shattered one of her legs. Even though the docs were able to save her leg, she was never able to race again.

@sarabee1995 Even though I haven't seen her for at least 30 years, I saw her youngest sister and oldest brother at the last family reunion before the pandemic, they said she's doing fine.
