Concept of Karma agrees to concept of reincarnation. We are not talking about instant karma here.
Karma is a thing that is carried forward between births. If they don't face consequences in this life, they will have to pay it in their next life. If you don't get rewarded for your good deeds in this life, you will get privileges/benefits in next life for which you did nothing in that life.
