Only you know how many times you felt bad, faced pain and still continued.

... 💚💚💚💚. So many things you didn't request nor wanted to but still faced, even with pain.
That means you were strong... And means learning.

And that's why children don't owe their parents anything.

@NerdyPotato what made you think about that?
@SW-User "So many things you didn't request nor wanted to but still faced"

None of us asked to be born. That was all our parents' choice. They owe us for staying alive to fulfill their wishes, we don't owe them for bringing us to life.

@NerdyPotato yeah but as independient beings specially as adults isn't that they owe us anything, also they didn't chose "us" nor us to them (not like choosing something you want according your exact wants or needs or qualities) Sure , would be nice that families had a loving and safe atmosphere always, but in that regard we can only be responsible for ourselves.. .
@SW-User that's also a good point. Maybe family members don't owe each other anything in any direction.

@NerdyPotato only as kids... But when you're an adult it changes. Do you have a good relationship with them?
@SW-User I used to with my mom until she passed away years ago, but my relationship with my dad has always been very problematic. He's more like "I gave you life and fed you, so you'll have to do everything I command you to do, the second I tell you to. Otherwise you're an ungrateful menace."
