Why do some of the most intelligent, kind and attractive people get bullied?

I don't need a lecture like I'm a ding dong, just curious about different perspectives.

I was bullied hard as a kid. I'm kinda sick of hearing it's because I was too nice, or I didn't fight back... It ultimately wasn't about me really... I feel like that's just some shit bullies say.

I want to know why the bullies did it, without blaming the ones who get bullied.

She admitted , when she was young , she hated anything pretty are docile ,, that she resented them , because she was the opposite , closed in and felt ugly inside and out , and lashed out ....She didn't come from a broken family , or abuse , she was a kid that felt not pretty inside and out ..
