I know I’ve talked a lot about this sort of thing

But yesterday I got picked on by someone I don’t know and it was really frightening. I was in a town nearby where I live but, not somewhere that I go to very often. I was walking through the park, not quite sure which way to go. He approached me and started hurling insults at me and threatening to hit me. He was around the same size as me, but his intense hatred of how I was dressed (ie not in a tracksuit like him) was what scared me so much.
I know that I used to pick on people at school and college, so I suppose I’m getting what I deserve. Yesterday has really shaken me, I’m worried about how I come across to other people as I always seem to get picked on nowadays.

One of the people I bullied did stand up to me after I’d been doing it a while. It was horrid, I’ve had more than my fair share of karma.@NativePortlander1970
@Strongtea It has been believed that Karma dishes back sevenfold.

Oh gosh. I really do wish I hadn’t done it now. 🙁@NativePortlander1970
@Strongtea This is that my Dad told me when I was six when I told him a little white lie to get out of trouble, he knew I lied and it devastated him, he told me that our word is what makes us along with out actions, which is why I am a strong believer in honesty, doing good, and helping others.

I do try to be a good person now and I very much admire honesty in people. I suppose deep down I knew I was being taught a lesson, it just feels harsh.@NativePortlander1970
@Strongtea Fuck around and find out. Do you have a New Age shop where you live? Id so talk with the owner to find out how to lift it.

There is one in the larger town nearby, I’ve always been a bit scared to go in. I did start going to church when I started dating my girlf as she already went. We do some work in the community helping people and the environment. I was hoping this would help my situation.@NativePortlander1970
@Strongtea Church doesn't do shit, imaginary friends are for kids and the simple minded.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Beliefs aside (I’m not on here trying to convert people) I do really love the community there, we have fantastic friends who are able to look past things that we’ve done.@NativePortlander1970
@Strongtea Give it time, you'll soon see past their false platitudes and hypocrisies.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
We shall need to agree to disagree on this one. @NativePortlander1970
@Strongtea Call it growing up around it and seeing shit from the inside.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
The church I go to seems very nice and I don’t see my feelings changing, but I do value your experiences and knowledge, like I said, I don’t want to push god or church on anyone. 😊@NativePortlander1970
@Strongtea Yeah, my late ex fiancee thought that about the home church she went to, a very small one, about 50 members, until the preacher, an "ex" biker that cleared out the church account of its entire $350,000, then left his wife and fled the country to a non extradition one in eastern Europe, leaving his wife with a $750,000 mortgage on the acreage, house, and small chapel.

To be honest though -the USA is a totally different planet. Churches run by people like that seem much more common over there. @NativePortlander1970
@Strongtea No, religion is religion everywhere, a scam designed to control the weak.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Like I said, let’s agree to disagree. I appreciate your opinion. 😊@NativePortlander1970
@Strongtea You're still wet behind the ears when it comes to life experience, you'll learn soon enough.

@Strongtea I saw and experienced shit before my 19th birthday that many people never dreamed about their entire life, but I was still young and inexperienced in life. My Grandfather taught me at the age of 19 that the more we learn the less we actually know, that the knowledge of this is the key to all wisdom. I took this and applied it to all of my decisions to this day.
