My Girlf and I are being bullied by some girls

We did used to pick on one of them in school but now a group of them keep shouting awful stuff at us if we see them in our town or wherever. They do these super evil stares and I actually get a bit scared. We have tried to apologise but the girl just laughed at us and told us to go away.
I want it to stop.
