i completely agree with you it is not right to take revenge and i am against violence myself
But sometimes it just is inevitable because you have to defend yourself against that person

Yessir. Agreed. Self-defense is of course different and sometimes cannot be helped. There is a big difference between hurting someone maliciously and purposely, and hurting someone while trying to defend yourself. Intentions are important.
