I agree. Even though it seems a simple thing to block, log out or ignore - to some (truth is, maybe to most) the cyber world is as real as the flesh and blood one.
We are all aware that there are a lot of people who are mentally fragile here and bullying is particularly dangerous for them.
There are also a lot of bullies here who would likely not say boo to a goose IRL but are vicious and venomous here. Valiant and courageous keyboard warriors.
Standing by and watching while a fragile soul gets savaged to me is equivalent to having a season ticket, front row, at the Coliseum.
The abuse, ridicule and cruelty are not memes and they are not cartoons. They come from those who have to have their boot on someone else's throat to feel a sense of power.
