I Was Bullied

I learnt through bruises and black eyes that telling a teacher or a parent did not solve the problems, only temporarily stops it until everything relaxed and they could resume.
I grew stronger learning this so I refused to give them what they wanted, my pain, my money, and my tears. It took time but soon every time I was beaten I wouldn't cry I wouldn't stay down, but I never sought revenge never struck back no I laughed it off. Soon it became less fun for them to hurt me so moved on to new targets but soon they got caught out by picking on the wrong kid and justice came for them fair justice? No perhaps karmic justice.
Though they hurt me made my life at school hell I must thank them they were the fire which helped forge me into who I am today why I don't seek to solve issues with violence and hate. I saw how much it infuriated them when I wouldn't give up my money,I wouldn't stay down and I wouldn't cry by robbing them of the satisfaction I won without throwing a single punch.

Understand that you remained kind and compassionate because that's who you are and they didn't break you. Some people break, and hate and hurt others, even themselves. Bullies deserve no praise or credit. They are miserable, cowardly predators already broken by other circumstances.

@bijouxbroussard I agree but I can't deny they helped forge me into who I am
