There’s a girl who works in our local Tesco
That’s always super chatty to me and my wife (I think she tries to be chatty to a lot of people, but I don’t see many chatting back.) I think she’s pretty nice, I always see her out for a walk in the woods at the park nearby, we will usually walk together for a bit to talk about what we’ve been up to.
Gonna be honest she’s kinda super dorky, like embarrassingly so, but I like her she’s nice and I feel like we get on.
Some people from school saw us talking and were kind of mean about it, kind of insinuating that I’d massively slipped down the social ladder or something.
I know I shouldn’t care, I know we should probs become better friends and hang out more and not care what people say.
I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but I do think they’re right and I feel that I might not engage with her so much.
