Day 2 on crutches and im already going crazy

I use physical activity and being mobile as a big distraction. Im always doing something. Cleaning something organizing something. Walking around pacing chasing after kiddos (when they are with me) just overall do not like sitting still at all. The longer I sit the more anxious I get and it sucks.

Im currently laid up with a bad ankle sprain. Which hurts more today than yesterday when I sprained it! Yesterday was a very bad bad day mentally for me. The thoughts that I’ve been feeling the emotions. I felt so lost in my own thoughts and my emotions.

Im still reeling from it today. It’s overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. It felt like I was feeling every bad thought and feeling and nothing at the same time. I felt so alone and also so exposed. I can’t really explain it. I still can’t im just hoping maybe if I write something out maybe the words would start to make sense but I still don’t think they are. Hopefully this pain pill will kick in soon and I can escape at least for a bit because this shit is horrible.

I hope you heal quickly and get your mobility back. I really really hope you get emotional comfort soon too

Use cbd oil, 1200mg plus .rub it on your ankle, rest the first day, Then use ace bandage and more cbd. For the next few days. After a week of walking in mine immediately after the sprain, no more pain. I sprained mine in the beginning of june and have been walking on it, just make sure you imobilize your ankle! Do not let it hend or move
It is horrible when you can be mobile and a sprain hurts worse than a break.

A few years ago I broke my ankle & it took some time to get used to the crutches 😅 I did everything I could to NOT use them. I even started practicing walking again while it was still broken & recorded this immediately after I removed the cast.

I'll be a hypocrite & recommend taking it easy though 😅 my ankle still tingles & throbs sometimes lol
