I could use some cheering up; nothing really does though

I tried to call to get an appointment today for counseling, and the call dropped.
There is something wrong with the car, and I have some serious family trouble.
I thought I was changing endocrinologists, but they rejected my referral because I was getting "adequate care" according to them.

I feel like a female charlie brown who can never quite get the football in the air or the kite out of the tree.
