You have wolves in Ireland?
@hunkalove no but seriously we had wolves, they were eliminated by hunting and farmers etc in 1700s and I believe that they either tried to reintroduce them back in to the country or they're going to, but the farmers aren't happy with it

@AbsolutelyFabulous We've had wolves reintroduced here in Colorado recently and a lot of people aren't happy about it.

@hunkalove we did but the brits had them hunted to extinction

Wouldn’t be a problem if we thought they tasted yummy

It's true. We're wired for survival, but for many we've solved the basic needs of food and shelter - and of course, that's just not enough and moves the bar higher for finding happiness.
Hard to shake millions of yrs of DNA shaped to help us survive when we ran around naked or fur clad with little more than rocks and a club to thwart predators
