Would have walked out of the place after seeing $14.99 for just a ham sandwich on the menu. Nothing else with it.

@DeWayfarer I would have paid for the food, but I wouldn't have left a tip. I think what they were asking is quite nervy.

@PhoenixPhail No, I would have not even ordered is what I mean.
I never walk out after ordering.
The clue is the price on the menu. Any place that has such a high price will add extra charges.
That soup cost you $4.00 BTW. There's no difference in price between ham and turkey sandwiches.

@DeWayfarer thats actually the price of food today. Eating out is expensive. Esp of you want fresh made quality food 🤷♀
Sandwiches have like, doubled in price. Everything except the most basic stuff like hotdogs and pizza have gone through the roof.
Its crazy.

@OogieBoogie I seriously don't go to those places with that price for just a sandwich and no fries!
Something at least! That price is not realistic here in California! They include fries for that price. It's not separate.
A foot long sub with everything on it costs that price at subway. Not 6 inches. And that's a phili cheese, provolone cheese at that! Beef not ham or turkey.

@DeWayfarer it is what it is🤷♀
Quality is just more expensive.
I mean, yeah, you can get cheaper, but then its usually processed stuff - which is usually more nutritionally deficient.
Not all 'food' sold these days.....is actually real food.
I supoose its each to their preferences.
I wouldn't want to pay for fries anyways 😂.... they're so bad for you

@OogieBoogie I'm just talking about the size difference.
There's no way that sandwich was even near a 6 inch sub. That 6 inch a meal by itself with everything on it.

@DeWayfarer ah, well, size isnt everything😜

@OogieBoogie Hey, they can't fake green peppers, cucumbers, onions, lettuce, tomato, olives, jalapenos and banana peppers yet! 🙃
And that provolone cheese didn't taste fake either. It's round like it should be. They are not getting it from Walmart who would never bother.
