Overthinking is exhausting in the quietest way.

t’s smiling in public
and then dissecting that same moment alone later.

It’s wondering if you sounded weird, if you cared too much, If you didn’t care enough.
It’s turning a normal day into a mental puzzle trying to solve things that weren’t even problems.

Sometimes I wish my thoughts would just pass through me instead of sitting down and unpacking their bags.
Because the truth is, most things are simple.
It’s just my mind that insists on making them complicated.

Maybe this is why I drifted from some friends or why people slowly started keeping their distance.

This book .. changed my life a bit. I started to figure how to let go of stuff, not invest so much of my energy in things that drain it, not worry what others think, etc.
