We aren't called to focus on the hurt; we're called to focus on the Healer

Do you ever feel like your thoughts are consuming you, like you're drowning in a sea of worries and fears? It's a heavy burden to carry, and it's easy to get caught up in the cycle of anxiety and despair.

But there's good news. God's Word reminds us that we don't have to carry this weight alone. In Psalm 34:17-18, we're told, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

Jesus Himself invites us to come to Him when we're weary and burdened. In Matthew 11:28-30, He says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

When our thoughts feel overwhelming, and we're tempted to turn to other things to cope, let's remember that God is our refuge. He cares for us deeply and wants us to cast our anxieties on Him (1 Peter 5:7).

The storm is only scary, if your eyes are not on Jesus.

You are loved, valued, and you're not alone. Jesus is not only the answer; He's the best hope we have.

Thank you Grace. Yes, I need to focus on him and not on the tormenting wind.
A very good Morning to you as well.

Christ is the answer. I have found absolutely no other way in this world to fight depression, anxiety, you name it, except through Christ, keeping my focus on him.
