We aren't called to focus on the hurt; we're called to focus on the Healer

Do you ever feel like your thoughts are consuming you, like you're drowning in a sea of worries and fears? It's a heavy burden to carry, and it's easy to get caught up in the cycle of anxiety and despair.

But there's good news. God's Word reminds us that we don't have to carry this weight alone. In Psalm 34:17-18, we're told, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

Jesus Himself invites us to come to Him when we're weary and burdened. In Matthew 11:28-30, He says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

When our thoughts feel overwhelming, and we're tempted to turn to other things to cope, let's remember that God is our refuge. He cares for us deeply and wants us to cast our anxieties on Him (1 Peter 5:7).

The storm is only scary, if your eyes are not on Jesus.

You are loved, valued, and you're not alone. Jesus is not only the answer; He's the best hope we have.

Thank you Miss Lady 🫂
@Tumbleweed

It may not seem like it now, but you're going to be okay. Right now you're in God's waiting room, waiting for his timing. He has you alone right now, so that you can listen and concentrate on what he's trying to tell your heart, but you'll be okay. It is a necessary step before victory can come. When you're in God's waiting room, it forces you to think things over, reassess, learn patience, perseverance, and Reliance on God. That's a good thing. That way, we don't repeat the same mistakes. But if we do, God doesn't want us beating ourselves up over it. Just get back in your spiritual boat and start paddling again. God is a god of new beginnings. Never forget that. When we know better, we do better. God doesn't tell us to fix our problems. He simply tells us to trust. And what you can't do, he'll take up the slack and help you get through it. That's a promise from God and he never breaks a promise. Just listen for once and see what he wants to tell you and then do it. If it's positive, then you know those thoughts are from God. 🫂🫂❤ Nothing is too hard for God to fix. He doesn't need our help. He's perfectly capable of handling your problems.

@LadyGrace You know, there are many times I've seen only one set of footprints in the sand and I know they belonged to Jesus.
@Tumbleweed Yes. That was him carrying you when you didn't have to strength to go on yourself. He's trustworthy.
