God will always love you fully and completely.
If you're one that is wondering if you're enough... if you would be loved if anyone really knew you ---- look no further. If it's acceptance you're wanting, you've got it. You don't have to look any further than the hands of the One who made you, the heart of the One who truly loves you. You're welcomed, held, cherished just as you are and encouraged to grow into all you'll become.
God already loves you. He accepts you just as you are, regardless of your past. Regardless of your performance. There's absolutely nothing you have to do in order to win his favor or love. He already loves you. We can find comfort and hope in this assurance of His unconditional acceptance.
His universal love, forgiveness, and open invitation, are the very nature of God. He does not require that we know everything about him or even attempt to make ourselves clean, before we come to him. He loves all and invites all to come to him for salvation. He turns no one away.
The Lord knows that we will not always love Him perfectly, because we are not perfect...but the gospel declares that God has perfectly loved us. He always will. Our goal isn't to understand everything about God; our goal is simply to step forward in faith. He will do the rest. He will do the saving.
For many people, having a father has been a lot of work. Making our fathers proud seems ingrained in us from birth, but we rarely, if ever, feel like we’ve accomplished that goal. As a result, hearing that God wants to be our father, brings shame and guilt, rather than the grace and freedom He freely gives.
So much goodness comes from knowing God as more than a higher power. "Higher power" could describe anything or anyone. Learning to see God as our father, will mean shaking off our preconceived notions of what it means to be a son or daughter.
Two things you can be sure of, when you think of God as your heavenly father. He will always love you fully and completely. There's nothing you have to do, to earn his love or acceptance. It's already there for you and it will always be there for you.
Romans 8:38-39 says nothing can separate a child of God from his Father’s love.
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).
Nothing. Nothing can separate us from God the Father or His son, Jesus. Achievements mean nothing, when it comes to the love we have from them.
God delights in our truest self, not the version of ourselves that we think He wants. Everyone who comes to Jesus, shall never be cast out. John 6:37
The bottom line: There is no place for the things of this world, when it comes to God’s love for us. He is our Father, and He is a perfect Father, at that. The believer realizes that His Father’s love is supernatural and truly unconditional; that he or she lives in the freedom that is part of our inheritance as children of God.
