I've officially deleted and purged all dating profiles. I'm no longer trying because I'm not getting what I want.

I'm done because there's no point in continuing if I keep getting the same results and patterns each time no matter what I do. I'm tired of constant disappointment.

That's nothingMake you a men's profile with an average looking man.Let's just say pick someone that has similar features.As you do someone that's overweight, not the best looking.Create a male dating profile and see.Just how horrible men are treated on those same dating profiles.

Think about how many average guys you've swiped on didn't even give him a chance..

What's bad is most people overrate themselves?Most women always rate themselves 3-4 points higher than they actually are so if you think you're a six or seven, you're probably a two or three

After my wife passed away I tried dating apps for awhile. They are a disaster. Don't judge yourself because the apps are so bad--lots of lies and fakes and nonsense!!!

Your best bet is to increase your circle of activities and friends in real life. If you're desperate go to a bar and go home with any acceptable man. You're still young, so it should be no problem.

@IAmNothing You gotta wait patiently and look in the right places. I have a big family and pretty much all of them as well as everyone else in my real life don't like me. So I found a few people here on SW who appreciate me for who I am. Not even romantically, just in an "agape love" kind of way. We talk outside SW too.

I just try to remember that the issue is not me, it's the people around me being materialistic and having unrealistic expectations.

Do I want a romantic partner... yes. But I'm more comfortable where I'm at since I have these friends I speak of. It's more bearable.

Everyone's experience is and will be different so take from that what you will. 🫂
