This is only what I'm interested in so my opinion. It's very hard to stay emotionally strong but I do kundalini yoga on a site called Life Force Academy. I practice breathing techniques too, sometimes Wim Hof... sometimes others. Wim Hof I do a little bit more. Meditation and there's something called death meditation practices too although I haven't checked those out..
If you do wim hof breathing though, it's not good in any place that you could die in like the tub for instance. It's not dangerous except maybe with some conditions but doing it in places you could pass out is bad.
With meditation, I haven't actively been doing it but kind of want to work up to it. Monks lit themselves on fire and stood stoic AF doing it. It's really bad they died in the first place but if that's what meditation achieves then I want what they had haha. Not that I want to do what they did but science does show weird states that happen with it.

Also some books that helped me were:
David Hawkins is pretty great but he's better listening to on audiobook to be honest. I put him here because he basically introduced me to acceptance therapy.

The Puppet Masters Bible is very expensive, right now it's on sale but I feel like it's worth it from the sample I read. I plan on getting it later. I mainly put it here not because you want to manipulate others but knowing how others think and when you're being played simply is a start to letting "you" be in control of your own life because I know that sometimes feeling out of control is what gets you more so than emotions. So I feel like it's well worth... getting on sale at least.. because it is very expensive otherwise. But worth putting here:
