I Don't Know What To Do About This. 🤔

I have a dedicated garbage bin at the alley at the end of my driveway. My city taxes pay for it. When I lifted the lid to put my garbage bag in (trash pickup is usually on Wednesday, but will probably be the day after this week, being tomorrow is Christmas), the bin was filled with wood and Styrofoam. There was barely enough room for just one trash bag. I'm trying to keep my cool about this, but it just gets to me that someone would dump their garbage in my bin. It's happened lots of times before, but never this quantity.

I won't dump out the wood and Styrofoam in the alley or in my yard. I don't know what to do with it. The garbage men won't take it. Any suggestions?

I know it won't do any good to call metro public works. What can they do? 🤷‍♂

Call your trash division of your city. They likely will do courtesy pick-ups.

I know this happens through Waste management and CR&R. I was the Rover that sometimes did such pickups.

Can you put the can somewhere else before the pickup date? Call and see what they say.
