I stopped in a random gas station ive never been in and bought cigarettes.... i was never carded...... i feel like an old hag

Oh let it go. Wait until this happens. I was carded by a kid maybe 21 or 22 when I was 65. I just starred and finally said really? You've got to be kidding. He said I'm sorry sir it's policy. I quess more liquor stores would protect their license if they were that stubborn.

@Gibbon My first job ever was working as a cashier. I used to have to ID everyone when dealing with liquor and cigarettes even if they were clearly of age. We weren't supposed to sell to those with expired ID's

@FutureIdol I get it. Never thought about expired IDs. This was for tobacco, I made my own, at Family Dollar which I went to often so was never carded. It was a new employee. Just set me back thinking can't you see I'm an old fart. Lol
