If only I was a bit more empathetic...

Well, for starters I don't understand why, in the UK, some families "Struggle" between food on the table OR... Rent? Am left wondering are we REALLY in the UK? Or some place in Africa? Does UK really understand meaning of poverty? When I moved out my unshared rent was £400 a month with an income of about £960 (2012 onwards).

This is the problem! I am not empathetic because maybe I never been thru a situation? Of choosing between bills and food on the table? IDK

Anyone in UK or other country been through financial tough times share your stories.
