I've experienced this before.
I once joined a walking group.
There were old ladies, few in 70s, 60s, 50s.
ALL of them out walked me.
A few did slow down so I could keep up.
Embarrassing lol
However, since then, I completed a 5k without stopping for a break...only to gather myself from nearly twisting my ankle and losing my balance so bad that I was nearly on the ground.
My leg was super sore for about a week afterwards

@iamnikki I'm glad im not alone in my shame. There's 3 of us in my friend group. Im 49, one friend is 46 and my other friend is 51. They did great and i felt bad slowing them down
